No matter where you look in the bible, there is a call to be ready, to stand firm, to be strong and courageous. Author Jon Bloom even states that “a lack of watchfulness is perilous to our souls.” Not a metaphor, but “very real peril.” Let’s dig deeper and find out what this real peril is.
