It’s no coincidence that the root word of charity is the latin word “carus“ which means “dear.” Yet, visit a local grocery store or even drive down I-15 and you’ll discover quickly that charity is NOT the initial response of your fellow humans! We are prone to angry, quarrelsome behavior.
