Symbol of Mission

We’ve been studying reasons why the cross is a big deal, using the small devotional book “The Cross in Four Words” as a catalyst for discussion. There is more that can be said about this symbol of freedom, forgiveness, and justice – for it symbolizes so much more. Today, however, we discuss the cross as a symbol of purpose. It’s a visual reminder that Christians must embark on a Holy Spirit-led rescue mission.
