Who's the Fairest in the Land

Perhaps the greatest source of relational conflict is unmet expectations. And when God lets us down, we start doubting his love, his justice, and even his existence! We don’t get to dictate the way life works, and sometimes God will be gracious enough to dispel any illusion that we are in control.

Everyone wants justice – the small child wants the same sized cookie as his sibling, and adults want to enjoy the same success as her “perfect” neighbor. Reality, however, smacks us in the face hard, and we ask ourselves, why doesn’t God treat us all the same? Let’s find out.
