What's My Motivation?

Ministry. What is ministry? Is this the work that ministers do? We talk about it, and we should all be involved with it, but this peculiar word deserves a little developing, so we can be confident that we are truly doing it and doing it right.
Warren Wiersbe, in his book On Being a Servant of God sheds some light on this with a practical definition: Ministry takes place when divine resources, meet human needs, through loving channels, to the glory of God. Through this week we will explore the elements of this definition looking to the Bible to guide us in moving us to get involved, and a check for our current ministry involvement.

“Ministry” isn’t only for the pastors and deacons and other high church positions. As believers in Christ, we are all to minister to each other – or IS that our primary objective?
