It sure makes for a good movie plot – elaborately devious plans to break into national treasuries, to gain power, to rise to fame, all leaving the good guys befuddled and looking the fool. We celebrate those loveable bad guys and maybe envy them for their fearlessness and gutsiness. But we shouldn’t. Because God’s not impressed.
